Life is but a stage

High above the square, an enormous steel structure has appeared, blocking out the sun and, what's worse, the signal to the satellite dish.

But it is not an art installation, it's serving a practical purpose. The builders will be using it to get on with our new extension over the next few weeks, whatever the weather.

Just as well I started a new job this week. I'm missing all the fun.

However, I think there could be mileage in getting together with local musician and record producer Ding Dong Daddy and putting on a mini-Glastonbury Festival. I mean, you can even see the sun rising over the Enchanted Village's very own Pyramid Stage.

That's about it.

Love Maddie x

  1. Addition? Have you thought this out? An addition alone is never enough and soon you'll be casting your eye over the rooms in the house that aren't 'up to' the addition - a vicious circle..........
    You've been warned!

  12. Well blow me down, I've just gone into my email box and was about to snarl about all the spam inside it, expecting to find messages about penis enlargements and unexpected legacies and they were messages from all of you. I had no idea about being a Blogger of Note. Thank you Blogger, and thanks to all my pals who persuaded me not to give up a few months ago.

  13. Congrat's on being Blogger of note. When I read your blog it brought back some memories for me as I spent time in England back in the early fifty's. Also some of my family came from Hook Norton, Banburyshire, also seeing some of your pictures I think is a great idea for other people. How about a round of darts sometime?
