A love letter to our local

As regular readers of this blog will know, The Enchanted Village pub has been closed for a fair few months.

And oh, how we've missed it.

If you hop across to Real West Dorset, you'll see the poem penned by villagers when it was closed. Each of us contributed a line or two. I hope you enjoy it. We certainly enjoyed writing it.

That's about it.

  1. Poetry at its finest!!

Hope the new pub will carry on the fine traditions of the White Lion and properly fill the hole the Lion's absence has left in The Enchanted Village.

    Cheers!

  2. Lovely, will the new pub have the hairy couch? BTW, I have been struggling with the new captcha all morning. I wonder why it changed?

  3. The White Lion to reopen?

Wow, given how Palmers pubs have gained a reputation for shutting and staying shut over the years I'm pleasantly surprised. Can we throw some of the same magic pub dust over the Bottle Inn at Marshwood now please?
